Usually in SWKS cruising the dirt roads is priceless scenery. It is pretty normal to have to drive to see the beautiful country side and to take in the wide open spaces. But lucky, we do have some of our own hidden gems in the county! Manter Dam near the Colorado Border is absolutely stunning. Learn more about it HERE!

Stanton County Museum is another huge hit here locally. It is rich with history and for a small town, It is really an amazing attraction! You can find more about it HERE

If you don’t mind driving head on up to Syracuse and visit Sam’s pond for fishing, and floating the river!

Another super neat geographical region is Two Butts in Colorado! The lake is currently dry, but the black hole is neat to go learn about and see.

Head on over and visit a local ranch, or feedyard, or dairy. Operations do tours all the time! If that doesn’t sound pleasing, the local golf course is great! If you are here during the summer and the River is up in Syracuse…floating the river is always a blast, or Just go sit at the Sam’s Pond!
